Former rider and MXRaceTime Owner
Phil has had a lifetime in Motocrosss, his dad Des Helyar rode from the late 50s to the 70's and whilst doing that setup his own motorcycle shop.
Phil started racing in 1988 in schoolboy events,Portsmouth Schoolboys and Berks & Hants.
In 1992 after leaving school went on and worked in the family motorcycle business. After a two year break from racing in the mid 90's Phil started racing again in adult events where he made Expert status. In 2013 Phil had a life changing motocross accident with left him paralysed in a wheelchair, everything in his life changed. He wanted to stay involved in the sport that he loved, grown up in, and worked in for so long, so in 2016 decided to open MXRaceTime.
For 2019 MXRaceTime will be helping out BCK Racing Team, Joel Kremer 202, Thomas Casebeard 333, Will Kremer 303,they will be competing in local and national schoolboy events. Thankyou to all suppliers for your help.
